Vision 2015 along with forty other Northern Kentucky business leaders, elected officials, and education leaders, participated in the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce’s annual lobbying trip to Washington, D.C. In order to visually depict the funding needs of several key Northern Kentucky projects in need of federal support, students from NKU’s College of Informatics created Pathways to Tomorrow an integrated multimedia presentation that will help to illustrate and explain the needs and benefits of federal funding for 20 projects totaling more than $3.3 billion in investment for Northern Kentucky. Vision 2015 recognizes that the pathway to the future relies upon educating area youth, connecting disparate districts through improved transportation, and supporting and sustaining livable communities for all residents.
