Dave Hatter is Principal Consultant with Libertas Technologies, LLC. Dave has nearly 16 years of programming experience in a number of tools and environments including IBM Websphere and Microsoft IIS/ASP and Lotus Notes/Dominoyears. He holds the following technical certifications Principal Certified Lotus Professional: Application Developer (R4, R5, 6) and System Administrator (R4), Microsoft Certified Professional, CompTIA i-Net+, CompTIA Network+ , CompTIA e-Biz+ , Master (CIW) Designer and has a B.S in Information Systems from Northern Kentucky University.

Dave’s former company, Definiti, was named a Lotus Beacon Award Finalist, 2000, in the "Best e-Business Solution - Supplier Relationship Management" for the "KAM" application that he designed, developed and managed for the Cognis Corporation (formerly Henkel).

Dave has authored/co-authored 11 books for Pearson Education, formerly Macmillan Computer Publishing, including Lotus Notes and Domino R6 Application Development Training Guide (forthcoming), Lotus Notes and Domino R6 Application Development Unleashed (forthcoming), Fast Track: CLP Application Development, Domino System Administration, Lotus Notes and Domino Essential Reference, Windows NT Server Security Server Handbook, and Lotus Notes and Domino Server 4.6 Unleashed, Special Edition Using Lotus Notes and Domino 4.6, Special Edition Using Lotus Notes and Domino 4.5, Using Lotus Notes 4.5, and Special Edition Using Lotus Notes 4.0. Additionally, Dave has been published in the Cincinnati Post, The Cincinnati Business Journal, The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce’s Business Journal, The Kenton County Recorder and Better Living.

Dave feels strongly about community service and stays active in the local community in a number of ways: Councilman and Webmaster for the City of Fort Wright, Kentucky; Water Cooler Talk Chair and New Economy Transition Team (N.E.T.T): e-Government Chair for the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce; member of the NKU Alumni Council, Technology Instructor in the NKU Community Education program, and Webmaster and member of the Kenton County Republican Party Executive Committee.

Tim Bankes
Tim is CEO with Libertas Technologies, LLC, a technology solutions provider that works with companies to build custom software solutions so that their business can run more effectively and efficiently. Tim has over 12 years of application architecture, application development, consulting, and management experience with various technologies and industries assisting companies in integrating Internet technologies into their core business by implementing real business strategies for the Internet, Intranet, and Extranet e-Business and e-Commerce solutions. Tim specializes in helping companies tackle difficult business issues while making them more efficient, effective, and accountable in order to deliver a high return-on-investment by focusing on business solutions utilizing the most appropriate and cost-effective technologies. Tim is a client focused, results-oriented team player with wide-ranging experience as a manager, consultant, solutions architect, software developer, writer, and speaker. Strong passion for client satisfaction, persistent focus on quality in services and software solutions, affinity for team leadership, and innate inter-personal skills have provided opportunity to create and grow two successful software companies, provided experience in leading larger application development teams as well as managing office business development, operations, human resource, and professional service offerings.

Prior to joining Libertas Technologies, Tim spent a short time as an independent consultant, assisting organizations in building "best-of-breed" Internet, Intranet, and Extranet solutions. Prior to working independently, Tim was the Director of Application Development/Acting General Manager for Eviciti Corp., a professional services partner that worked with companies to integrate the Internet into their core business by providing complete eBusiness/eCommerce solutions, services, and technologies. Within one year, Tim grew the Application Development team to from 12 people to approximately 25 people. Prior to Eviciti, Tim was a partner and Principal Information Systems Consultant with Definiti, Inc. where he managed the growth of the business, provided consulting services, and managed the development team which specialized in the design, development, and deployment of comprehensive, enterprise groupware/workflow solutions.

Tim has authored/co-authored 6 books for imprints such as PrepLogic, Pearson (formerly Macmillan Computer Publishing), QUE, SAMS and New Riders including the latest publication: Microsoft 70-536 Study Guide for ASP.NET 2.0 Exam published by PrepLogic. Tim holds a B.B.A. in Information Systems, a B.B.A. in Management, as well as a certificate in International Business from the University of Cincinnati.

Tim is a life-long resident of Cincinnati and feels strongly about community service (locally and internationally) and has served in several organizations such as Cincinnati Habitat for Humanity, "The Diner" City Gospel Mission, three-time participant in mission trips (self-funded) to Mamelodi, South Africa, on going member of IT business development team with Bophelong Community Center, Mamelodi, South Africa, team leader of annual "GO Cincinnati" city improvement project, participant in "People Working Cooperatively" event, and member of Legacy (Northern Kentucky).

Glenn Plunkett
Glenn joined our team in 2007 as Vice President, bringing with him a broad range of IT experience. Having worked in and with numerous industries spanning more than 20 years, his knowledge of different lines of business gives Libertas unique leverage in understanding the client’s needs, and creating “right-fit” solutions to their business challenges.

Before joining Libertas, Glenn was IT Director and Systems Architect at Crossroads Church, one of the largest and fastest-growing ministries in the Midwest. Here he developed the IT infrastructure and staff from the ground-up. As a fast-moving entrepreneurial organization, Crossroads provided unique challenges in creating innovative IT solutions where both time and money are at a premium. Glenn worked on numerous high-level projects here, including people management applications, application integration and custom hardware solutions. Cutting-edge internet and intranet systems are extensively used at the church, as well as customized commercial applications. Here Glenn also gained experience in financial and IT auditing, building automation and audio/visual automation systems.

Prior to that, Glenn was IT Manager at ITA Audio Visual, a systems and solutions provider to the hospitality and events markets. Again wearing numerous hats, Glenn created the company’s IT infrastructure and web presence. Heading up several migration and integration projects, Glenn was part of the team which helped transform the organization from local shop to multi-state organization. This entailed creation of the company’s first e-commerce site, replacement and automation of key business and accounting systems, B2B integration and communications.

Fresh out of his college years at Cincinnati Technical College, Glenn joined Lambda Research as Operations Manager, working in electronic engineering and systems development. As a leading materials science laboratory, Lambda provided best-of-breed engineering and analysis services to numerous industries, including health care, government, military, automotive and aerospace. He worked on numerous federally funded research projects, honed his skills in both engineering and IT, and developed patented testing technologies for the materials science industry. Quality management, software and hardware development and client/server technologies were all part of his daily challenges. It was here, in 1997, that Glenn first began developing his skills in web technologies as well.

Glenn brings a depth of experience that rounds out the Libertas team. He specializes in end-to-end solutions design and architecture, bring that experience to bear on the customer’s project. He can also utilize his experience in IT security, best-practices and infrastructure management to help bridge gap between business and IT. In addition to developing great technology, customer satisfaction and doing business with integrity are his top priorities.

Dominic Wolfer
Dominic Wolfer brought his extensive background in Marketing and Sales Management to Libertas Technologies LLC in May of 2008, joining the team as the Director of Business Development. Prior to joining Libertas Technologies, Dominic helped open the Norlyn Manor, an elegant reception and banquet facility, specializing in high end private and corporate events, located in Batavia Ohio. While at Norlyn Manor he served as Vice President of Marketing. He was responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies, along with personally contacting new and existing clients, and assisting them in their process of selecting a facility and consulting in the planning of their event. Working with the staff at Norlyn Manor they saw continual growth in a very competitive market and at the time of his departure Norlyn Manor was ranked as one of the top ten banquet centers in the Greater Cincinnati and Dayton Area by TheKnot.com. Dominic graduated from UC’s College of Business Administration with a BBA in Marketing in 2001. As a student at the University of Cincinnati, he was active on and off campus and is an alumnus of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.
